alky control system

Dont know if I can post this so if not, the moderator can delete it. If anyone is considering getting a system, this is the only one to consider. Not only is it an extremely high quality product, with great instructions and top shelf components. The customer service is by far the best I have ever experienced. And between my cars and snowmobiles I have had tons of experience with aftermarket performance products. I just had an issue come up ( turns out it was my car, NOT the alky system) and the owner, Juilo, spent quite a bit of time on the phone, patiently walking me through things to check, also replying to emails usually within the hour. There were several and all were well before or after business hours. I live in WI and his company is in FL, I have no connection what so ever, just wanted to steer anyone looking for a system to a place that deserves your business. Customer service after the sales these days is rare and he goes above and beyond as far as im concerned.

julio is and has always been there to help work out kinks and cut to the chase and get you back up and running even when most of the issues he works to solve are user induced

just be aware the pump should be considered a consumable
 its running a solvent and the fluid handling portion is built with plastics that will degrade with contact and they will eventually need to be replaced . the alky tester he sells is a big help for finding the leaks and checking the output pressure to determine when it should be replaced , also good for dialing in turn on and ramping
the pumps cost a round 160 these days but for what you save being able to run WOT all the time anytime on pump gas  vs  race fuel , even if its replaced every two years, is still a bargain

ive been running his kits since he started and the nay sayers back then warning against alky were the majority  , julio made it so much easier

but how often does that happen?

speaking of which....
is the best location for installing the alky nozzle in a intercooled car still the up pipe?
or is there a more preferred location to put it these days?

Julio has you install it in the uppipe...a measured distance from the throttlebody. I think as long as the nozzle is higher than the alky reservoir is okay. When I install stuff in my car I follow the instructions.. .that way I don't get myself in trouble.

Lots of folks are doing pre and post turbo injection these days.

why would you pre-turbo inject??

I would think to lower the temp of the charge. Gives you another chance to pack that much more into the cylinder. It's an air pump, the more air, the more power. Cool it and get more in.

Maybe someone has another reason.

Lotsa hot air guys inject pre turbo.  I never did.
Never installed alky in a IC car either.
getting ready to though.  gonna order a razors kit.
and guess I'll try and find another up pipe instead of drilling the one on the car

Pump failing Every two years but it never failed suddenly.

Forget to prime it and you will be on your next rebuild. Well thats what happened to me.
