« on: December 29 2013, 11:22:15 PM »
the 86/87 intercooled cars have a factory hook bracket bolted to the front of the pass side intakee manifold to lift the engine.
there wasnt one on the driver side, correct?
buick lowered the engine onto the frame hooked into the eyelet cast into the rear of the block on the driver side, correct?
thanks in advance for any help,  I am still computerless and cant access my service manual on cd

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

best I can tell is the na's, ha's and ic'ds all had differant front lift brackets and the factory did just use the eyelet in the block for the rear hoist point.
I have a couple mint hot air ones if anybody wants them for shipping.
I'm still going through parts and sorting what I got left.

Just the pass side one.

What do you guys use on the other side of the engine when pulling the motor? Exhaust studs look to be the best way I see..
