Made 3 passes Friday night. Heres best two. 110 octane. 12.51 @ 106 was 24lb boost timing 25/22 785 O2 no knock. 12.76 @ 106.3 was 25lb boost timing 26/22 773 O2 no knock, spun tires out the hole. Added about 10% wot fuel to the 100 oct chip. Broke my left motor mount so was done for the night. Getting better, ran 12.80s @ 103mph last time out on 100 octane. Trying to stay safe and take small steps. Also met 2 cool guys with turbo Buicks, one guy had a TTA and a GN, hes been in the turbo Buick scene since 89.

that car is not making much mph for so much timing and boost even for that altitude, I would think. Maybe the guy with the gn and tta can say?
it does have new valve springs, right?
What turbo is on the car? I have forgotten

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

His sig says a 44. Agree with Steve with that much timing it should come out of the hole harder...but hard to say what his 02's are in low gear...could be pig rich. MPH is low. I'd expect 112-114...as that's what I did with a TA49 a few turbos ago at 24 PSI.

Car has new valve springs. Not having PL is hurting me. I got number from guy and he said he can help me out with the car. It may be too rich in the first half of track with all the fuel I added. I was following some general suggestions from Eric at TT for moving to 110 from 100 on the chip. The track was packed and then My motor mount broke so I was done with 3 runs. No TnTs scheduled for a while here. He did say his TTA went 12.0 at 114 and he was down 3mph from last time out.

yep, you need powerlogger so you can adjust the fueling. If it ain't detonating, it is not too lean so you can start to take a little out each try until you see a tiny bit..then I suggest to add about two percent back in for safety

I also think I will break down and do a comp test on engine sometime this week.

Did a comp test on engine after warming up. Cyls ranged from 143-150. I guess I could make a few first gear blasts and check O2s to get a general idea of how rich it is down low. I bought a $10 left eng mount from Autozone with lifetime warranty. Ive read a stock mount should be fine ( even though the mount that broke looked almost new, Ive only had car 6 months). I just cant cough up $129 for an HR mount now. Hopefully the track will open up a few TnTs over the winter to run again.
