I pulled a 1.61 60ft three times then snapped the axle on the next pass and this was still with the stock converter, unopen motor with only a TE-44. I upgraded to 30 spline, but if I were you play it safe and get some better axles. You have a TR that weighs 4050 with you in it?The reason it weighs so much is because of all the extras I have in it. I told my buddy who own's a Stage II car, how much it weighed and he said, "No way!" Then I opened my trunk for him and he then said, "Yeah, possibly." Car weighed 3800lbs when I put it on the scale. I have T-Tops, the concert sound system with 10 after market speakers, 4 subs, 5 amps, and an electronic crossover, 10 disc exchanger. Car also has carpeted trunk kit. And when I race I couldn't be bothered with removing anything, not even the spare.
