The suggestion is to disconnect or don't connect the TRANSLATOR+ timing leads to the EST wire at the ignition module when you have a chip capable of controlling the timing
 
 if it is connected remove it and reconnect the white EST wires at the igniton module connector , and i dont mean just twist them back and wrap tape on them , its exposed to the elements

with everyone powder coating this and that   ..don't trust the mounting bracket to intake grounds ...even if you scrape the powder coat off the module to bracket points and the bracket to intake points since even the intake may not be grounded

on the underside of the module bracket attach a ground strap to the module mounting stud  and run it to the chassis at the powermaster ground bolt which should also have the ground strap to the transmission bell housing bolt under it ..that ensures a path back to the battery either through the block  from the trans bolt or the chassis at the cowl
