serious brake problem !!!!
« on: August 15 2013, 02:33:56 PM »
i was checking my brake system out because my pedal was feeling spongey. so I took out the master cylinder and brake booster. and found out that the brake booster I was broke around the plastic tip where the rod that goes to the brake pedal. when they converted to back in brakes I don't think that they changed the pedal and it broke it because the pedal and booster rod wasnt lined up right. so i need a pedal what cars can i get one from? this is one of the many issues im having!!!    :icon_evil:

Any RWD GBody, and there's a thread somewhere, I think you can reposition the pin.

I just got my brake pedal fixed by relocating the pin for the booster. Im haveing problems putting the one nut on the bolt that holds the brake pedal. Its a tight fit in there...... i might have to drop the steering column!! Is there a guide somewhere on the net that can show me how to drop the steering column down so I could make it easier to put the bolt on. Thanks

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.
