Isn't there something more useful that you could spend the money on?
My boost levels on my cars do exactly the same every time with homemade grainger valve mbc's. The factory solenoid provided solid boost control.I have seen more problems with aftermarket wastegates than the factory, but ymmv I would assume you have PowerLogger on your cars but if not, that would be the much better investment.
I guess if you want to retune the car ever time you change the boost, that is okay. Might work better with a closed loop wb, but I won't go that route again on a street car.I am too lazy, I set the boost and leave it there....been years since I moved it off 26 psi on either car. I never had the performance I wanted out of the regulator valve styles altho others said they worked well for them. I could seldom make it hit the boost I wanted but rather jumped all round on both sides of my target
wish I had a car that I had to worry about damping the spool up but I would handle that problem with more traction, I think
