A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

Give Reed Partridge a call Charles. He does turbos for a living and can help you decide which one to go with. 205-516-3946

The price of these things are ridiculous. I think if/when my turbo go out(its already passing oil) I'll park the car and just wash it and let it continue to sit.

Wow! The Precision Stock location intercooler is a Grand now! I figured at $600 years ago when I got mine that it was expensive! Holy Crap!!  :O

Look for one of the cheap Brasilian turbos, I guess.   Let's see, the one I suggested should last 100,000 miles. cost about 3/4 of a penny per mile

$800 for a turbo is cheap.  I've been pricing out superchargers for my new wagon and all-in it is upwards of $10,000!

I think cheap turbos are in my future... or N/A.

Charles I have a damn near new TE44 that I could let go for $600. It was rebuilt with new wheels and housing by John Craig and I put about 300 miles of use on it before going to a TE45a.  Let me know if you want it. I'll get you pics
