Me and my cousin Charles also got the front and back bumper fillers installed on the car.  Although it needs paint, it looks a lot better than it did when they were missing.

Charles is your cousin?  I always thought he was your brother.

Nah, he's my big cousin.  We're like bro's though.  Hey Steve, it seems to be spooling a little bit quicker...mayb e smoother is a better word to describe it.  No whirlwind huh?  Lol.  Not interested in sending the heads to the stratosphere(Earl's words).

Im curious as the the adjustable WG i bought.  Initially when i installed it, the boost was set at about 9 lbs.  I shortened the rod a bit, and now my boost is at about 12.5-13 lbs...my only issue is, I dont have too much further to shorten it.  Lol.  Sheesh

Be sure you connected the hoses such that the "Y" is installed correctly.  Long side of the "Y" with the restrictor in the end goes to the port on the turbo compressor housing.

I have it completely wrong then.  I thought we eliminated the "Y" and just ran the hose directly from the compressor to the WG, and that was it...I must have been confused

No, that is what we call Tuner Style....but it should give more boost than that if the rod is shortened

I prefer to use the wastegate solenoid if it works, but if not, either Tuner Style as you did, or with a manual boost controller which should let the boost come up faster

Thanks a lot for this Supersix.  My problem(after reading that) is that I removed that restrictor piece(the "Y") completely, and I wasn't suppose to. I guess I need to lenghten this WG rod before installing this "Y" piece back on there.  Is it safe to say that the other part of the "Y" bleeds off into the atmosphere?  Thanks so much for that thread

It should work with just the hose between the compressor housing  and the actuator, but you have to shorten the rod more

Right. Its working, but I've only been able to adjust the rod so much. I dont have many more turns before its maxed out. Maybe two more turns max i have left.

Drove for an hour today & going for a 2 hour trip tomorrow. Everytime I felt like driving it was raining! Plus my left leg is getting bad but I just had a CT scan at 1:30 & see the surgeon again next Tuesday for final plan of attack. Now that it feels like summer I'll get out some more i hope!!
