I have run them on my car for years without problem.
BTW The coils off a 97 (and up) Pontiac Bonneville SSEI are hotter than regular coils. Series II L67
Helps to hot wire the module as well.

I have had good luck running them for basic street use. I hear they aren't the best for racing.
