Question for you gents. I want to waste some money on a car this summer. Here's my option's. Alky for the Buick... I'm not much of a tuner, mostly stock with few basic upgrades, see sig. At track at 15-16 lbs of boost it runs 14.20's ( low profile street radials but still dissapointing
) Or NOS for my 86 vette, its mostly stock and runs 14.5's at the track. Cost is about the same for each option. Which do you guys think would give me the better gain? Lots of knowledge on here, Thanks!!!

with what you have ..(assuming theres a good fuel pump and no issues with motor)
add alky, (methanol injection)
sticky tires (drag radials)
and some tuning --turning boost up (low 20s) while watching o2s and adding fuel if needed and some timing with the chip you have (bring it up to 21-22 1st and 2nd gear and 19 -20 in third ) ---....
it should do low 12's all day long and possibly dip into 11s on a cooler day
mine was 12 flat at 109 when motor was stock with just valve springs, downpipe and dual exhaust
if exhaust is still restrictive a dump test pipe will help
