Low 02 Reading
« on: April 20 2013, 07:30:43 PM »
I'm getting a low 02 WOT reading from Dan Kellers car...and it isn't real. 02's are in the mid 600's. No KR. New fuel pump. New hotwire kit. New battery. New alternator. TT chip burned for the exact combination. Fuel pressure rising with boost. 43 line off FP. Tried 2 known good ECM's. Grounds cleaned to within an inch of their lives. New 02 sensor. All SM readings normal. Engine temperature at 170 degrees.

Fire away guys...cuz I'm out of ideas.

I have no idea...but, you might go thru the trouble tree here http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/code_13.htm to check the continuity, etc.

Does the car go into closed loop?

What are the blms showing?

so, assuming the maf is reading at least 245 at wot, the ecm is pulling fuel while the O2 sensor is telling it to add fuel?

Steve...the BLM reading is at idle warmed up. The owner has a PL file at WOT for an entire run. Let me know what readings you want at WOT.
