wtb 86\87 stock MC brake lines
« on: March 04 2013, 01:40:56 PM »
I'm wanting both master cylinder lines that go down to the brake proportioner.
Yes, I know that select vendors sell the whole kit for around $180.
I don't need the whole kit, just those 2 lines.
they MUST be corrosion/kink/dent free, and no abuse on the 2 nuts.

shoot me a price.
thanks!

I guess I should also point out that classitube.com, which is where the most the vendors are getting the brake lines from, will not sell lines seperate anymore, just the whole kit.
that sucks

looks like they just sell the whole set also, unless I missed it.
I want oem looking ones.
I could fab all the bends easy but I dont have the tool to do the coiled part.

I would not be surprised that if you called they they would do them up for you.
I think the inline guy owned a buick?

I did one, I think I bent it around a big pipe, do that part first then if you like it continue.
I really don't remember how good it came out and its too cold to dig out the car...

it would be very easy to fab some up if I didnt care if they looked oem.  I have a nice tube bender. I even have access to a whole factory full of coilers being I worked part-time at a spring factory as a kid.
but its 40 min away from where I live now, plus material, plus the time to set up a die and hand feed it, etc....
I'm just hoping 20, 30, 40 bucks later,... somebody with some nice used ones can send them on over
