Is it worth the effort to do this? Small cost, just wondered if it really has any effect on engine bay temps or if it improves turbo efficiency?

waste of time altho it will reduce underhood temps a bit
Ideally, you would want the downpipe as cold as possible
sure don't want the wrapping to get oily
