Wrapping down pipe
« on: January 30 2013, 10:45:32 AM »
Is it worth the effort to do this? Small cost, just wondered if it really has any effect on engine bay temps or if it improves turbo efficiency?

waste of time altho it will reduce underhood temps a bit

Ideally, you would want the downpipe as cold as possible

sure don't want the wrapping to get oily

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.
