As much as I love my GN, there will always be a soft spot for Q-Jets...
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

Thats the closest I've come to owning a pre-FI TB. I was thinking about
putting that in my Mazda at one time. I've since taken that motor apart, only
to discover that it needs a crank.

You can use a N/A crank for that, it's strong enough to handle the power. I've got a N/A crank with the spare engine that I plan on using for the new build.

No, I was going to take the crank out and put it in my '87 engine
that I'm building. (600 hp) I've heard that the standard cranks will take it, but I'm
going to gamble on it.
