Thanks Dave, so why are they like animals around the house? ??? ? Just kidding..... I guess  :chin:

Paul mentioned on the old hang out board that Rodney may have some valve train issue.... What did you see Gary?
And Gary, glad to see you at the track, and Ray Ann.... oh, and your son Thomas, man that guy can drive your Buick !!!

As far as the award goes, I believe someone said it was about 60 cars and 18 trophy's, they did a points style judging contest, so maybe it was a award for who dropped the most money in there car in the last 5 yrs??

Hey Gary, I see Thomas did alright!
Yea he did alright and so did the car. He made it to the finals. Like I posted on the MAGNA board, he pulled a .025 light in the finals, I heard the engine rev, I thought he spun, but instead 1st gear went out. He nursed it to a 13.xx pass and lost to Jay (.244 light) ouch. Whenever your kid gives a hug and thank you for a great day it's worth the price of a tranny. The entire day was good. It was the only time this year I got to see everybody. I can't say enough how great it is to be involved with MAGNA, ALL the people are so much fun to hangout with. It was really good to see and talk to Sean. The BPG bunch showed their support big time. This was probably our last race for the year. Can't wait til next year though.

Chuck on the rocker shaft issue, it wasn't Rodney but, I'm sorry for the brain fart, BPG chief before Sean, can't remember his name but we talked for awhile.

some one came to me and asked if i had spare rocker assembly , and saw that rodney wasnt rolling  and his car was so far off the dial on first round i assumed it was him.
turns out he had some other electrical/ecu issue  with an intermittent no start issue , crank but wont start. he is running motec which was in the car when they bought it and they dont mess with it  .
at the end of day a couple guys went over to help rodney  push the tta onto the trailer and for shits and giggle he tried to start it and it finally kicked to life and he drove it onto the trailer .

i am glad you guys had a great time.
i almost made it but Murphy jumped in my car at about 6:30 AM and made me abort the trip.
The MAGNA guys are a super cool bunch.I have been to a few of their track rentals and really wanted to make this event. Next year i guess.

Most talk about having thick skin but thats just BS.
This damn attitude of "you didn't listen to us/me now you should burn in hell for it" really sucks.
