87GN Last Time Under the Knife,FL
« on: August 21 2012, 09:49:10 PM »
Hello,

Me under WOT, the factory boost gauge line slid off. The XFI saved the motor but it did cause radiator fluid damage. The car has no water in the oil,but looses all the water in 20 minutes of drive time. My guess it's out the exhaust or i have sleeve cylinder malfunction. So...... Being it's time for frame off paint job (with extra's) The motor's coming out an car goes to Paint an Body. My current plan is to turn it into a GNX Cosmetically,Have Super Car type drive train (stable to 200mph),Retain the stock interior. Currently the car makes over 700hp ,an pulls serious corner G's but has the original paint an frame bushings. All the bumper fillers, flares an hood are un painted fiberglass still, all the a-arms front back upper an lower are BMR's,Aerospace Prostreet disk all around, bilisteins, custom rate springs,Falken auto-cross meats, 295/40 18's in the bcak 255/40's 18's up front.Currie 9" with 3:20 gears with bullet proff 200r4 non-lock-up,Motor has gt-71 percision turbo,72psi injectors, single alky kit,218 roller cam 1:65 rockers with iron GN1r's,RJC front mount Photo's of it cleaned up ,an Flatbedded to the shop,(12-20-11)

4-20-12 , The interior's back in !! The 16 gauge plate's welded in behind the rear seats. One piece twin gauge a-piller monuted .The quarter glass windows are in. Now there's issues...The dash cap won't allow the gauge face cover to snap in!!, I'm also not pleased with the looks,So..most likely it's all coming back out again. Want a pain in the arse but i want the interior Factory New again in fit ,colors an feel. Still waiting on parts ordered then the motor an trans go in..
