back up lights and other gripes
« on: August 07 2012, 08:32:14 PM »
cannot adjust the back up lights on my T so that they come on when coming from Park or Drive...if I get them on from Park to Reverse, they will not go on when coming from neutral...or if coming from neutral, car will not lock the column going into Park without a hand on the collar...or various permutations of the above.

Looks like there is too much wear in the grommet on the arm out of the column to the rod that goes back to the tranny...looks like those things should be a dime a dozen, but I am guessing I will have to rig something....v iton or other o -rings?

Then between two cars, I have about four or five of the plastic wingnuts that retain the taillite housings to the back of the car that have disintegrated in my mighty hands.....seem s like that ought to be a common item...maybe the help section?

Amazing that the stock ones are hard to find for a Regal?? They made a Lot of that model so they must have boxes of them somewhere???  :chin:

Thanks for the link Dave.  I ordered four from the first link you provided. They are the correct ones.
