Personally... I would have done what S6 did.

Enough is enough and those kinds of threads will define a new board like this. This place is well on it's way for it's own identity and that's not it.

I have owned a Buick forever (it seems) and there are plenty of people that have screwed me over financially over the years and I just refuse to air it on the net to get blown out of proportion. I pick up the phone call the guy and we do it that way.

Didn't mean to get into a rant on a soap box, but I have been known to do this on occasion.

For the record, I don't give a crap myself about them "over there", but don't forget that without that conflict this board would have a lot less traffic.

I respect the wishes of S6 completely, but I think you go into deep waters when you cut out what you don't like.  That is the reason I didn't sign up at "the other board", I have a problem with having to think if I'm going to offend anyone before I say something.  This is the internet and is taken way too seriously, it should be seen as entertainment.    
  
I'm not making a big deal about this, but how would you feel if I was an alcoholic and started complaining about all the martini talk, or bitching about movies of underage Japanese girls licking glass(cool by the way).  That's how it all gets started, worring about who you're offending.  
  
This is no different that two football teams calling each other names, it's all done with respect and should not be taken seriously.    
  
That is why I asked that he just remove the thread completely, so it wouldn't stir up anymore, but at least he can remove the "anything goes" from the playground tab.

Admittedly, I at first wasn't sure how to handle the *second* deletion on ihadav8 (The first being a shoutbox discussion way back about certain people and their creative ways of getting intoxicated... .probably a good idea to get rid of that), but S6 is an eloquent motherhumper.
