guess the old pump is tired!  I suspect the 307 in my GN is the same way tho I have not seen any signs other than a whine.  That project is due for attention as the new pump has been here for a couple of months.

Got to finish up the hoses and thermostat on the other one this morning.

Lol. I love it. You stay on top of it Steve. My car is running spo good right now i dont know what to say. Night and day difference. I took the stock chip out. Had two other chips laying around. I put the thrasher chip in there. Throttle response has improved. Still have a lot of tuning to do. WOT tps only got up to 4.22. Car still might be running rich. Freakin FP jumped up damn near eight lbs line off. That shocked me a bit. Keep you guys posted. Im still shocked at how good the car is running

get a TT chip and find out what good really means.  Or one of Bob Bailey's chips which are also good...

Thrasher was a good chip back in the day!

TurboTweak is the way to go!

I have a 307 in the 87T - had it for years, runs fine. I think I have a 340 for the GN..

<blockquote>I see a lot of members when ask what type of chip they can use, and majority will said TurboTweak http://www.turbotweakstore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1000

I have Full Throttle http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/itemdesc.asp ic 050BUCOMMAND eq Tp+
To which I think is comparable to TurboTweak, Is there something wrong with Full Throttle or is it's just preference?

By the way, This not to start a war, just want some opinions </blockquote>

I consider them equal.  I tell people to read the instructions for both and use the one you understand the best.  :D

On the advanced chips, I suspect Bob's chips are better technically if you are smart enuf to take advantage of the features.  Performance wise, an experienced user will obtain the same performance from either.  I have never seen an edge to one or the other myself.

Either will compete heads up with an aftermarket fuel management system into the nines no matter what guys that sell aftermarket systems will say

Lol.  The thrasher chip is burned for blue tops.  i believe those are 36# injectors, so the car was very lean according to blm's.  I researched all of this so you should be proud of me!! :D

Thanks!!  So, my question is, would you want a car that runs rich or lean?  I know on vortex-buicks it's stated that we tend to run as lean as possible before incurring detenation, but why?  Does the car run better more lean oppose to rich?  I would figure rich would be safer, yeah?  Just curious.  Thanks
And i know its preferred to be in between rich and lean I'm sure..
