vac brakes?

ok i have a vac brake set up on the t.
new pads rotors etc..
i went thru 1 1/2 bottles of brake fluid bleeding them
\still barely any stopping power.
engine off i can push about 3/4 of the way down after the power assist is gone
does this mean more bleding?
i start with left rear the right rear then right front an finaly left front..
an i doing this correctly?

How are you bleeding them?  The only real success I have had is with two people, one operating the brake pedal under the instruction of the person operating the bleeder valve.

right rear before the left rear....(passenger side before driver's side)

New master cylinder? Did you depress the button on the proportioning valve?

there is no need to depress the button on our generation of cars...in fact, it is already depressed and comes out when you step on the brakes...

I found when I had an issue years back that Gravity Bleeding worked great. Also double check the adjustment on the rears & make sure the fronts are working properly with no tears in the rubber seals. My fronts were a little rough looking so I just grabbed new ones for under a $100 total. They also give back a credit for the old cores.
