A rep for Shelby's company Carroll Shelby International says Shelby died today at a Dallas hospital. He had received a heart transplant in 1990 and a kidney transplant in 1996.

Holy shit. That may be the most collectible of the initial 4. So you own Shelby's personal favorite that he was going to give his wife, but it got sold while he was out of the country? Wise investment, Grumpy!

I missed buying the green car by 2 weeks way back in the "day".. My car was Shelby's wife "driver". (have conformation from Shelby) . It was sold when he was out of the country. Car has been stashed away since 1974 or 75!! Drove it for one summer. Cali car with 25k on it. Buick guys have scene it with pics of our Buick fleet.
