As long as you just want to read codes, how cheap to do you want to get? That's almost the price of the Super Pack of Reese's peanut butter cups.

Good deal!
I have a Black and Decker scanner I bought at Ross of all places for $29.00. Works great.
I am interested in some of the new Android smartphone scanners though.

There is a free version and a paid version ($4). You need is one of these to connect to your smart phone or tablet.

These are fun, we found these when a friend's civic dash died and they wanted a ton of money to fix it.

Personally, I'd opt for the Peanut Butter cups, but I hate cars.
