I guess Be4u and I are lucky to live fairly close to a dragstrip.
Those are still good times for a carbed hot air. If I had to
guess. I would say those cars probably did high 16s to low 17s
in stock form.

There are 2 tracks closer, I went there to meet another board member and hang out/race and beat him with his own slicks :rock:
Stock time for a 83 is 16.9..
My new build will be alot faster..but not sure how long it will take to get ready..maybe next year.

Jim, do you need any stock 86-87 parts? I'm looking to lighten my load since my car isnt stock anymore.

I can't use any of your intake stuff unless I convert...that's not going to happen.
About the only thing would be the stock heads

I aint got them. When/if y'all come out I'll make a pile of stuff I dont need and let y'all pick and choose. I would try to sell the stuff but thats just a PITA. I'd rather give it to my friends and people that were there for me. Even JDGN could have some stuff.
