Trim Paint ??
« on: April 13 2012, 10:23:55 PM »
Worked a deal with friend on the paint job. I'll be removing all the badges and trim and all. Question is this, is there a GM specific satin black for the trim, headlight bezels, grill and such? Want to freshen up all these parts so car looks like new again.

Thanks!!!

Not GM specific that I know of.

I hear SEM Satin black is what all the kiddies use.

If we are talking spray bombs the Krylon is a good match too.

I've recently had a chance to use some SEM "Satin BlacK" Trim paint recently for the first time and with very good results. This is the best stuff I've found so far. For the Canucks in the crowd and in particular to the GTA guys, it's available in an aerosal can and is sitting on the shelf at Car Quest near you .
