If I had her number I'd call to chat and check up on her.  Just glad to know her daughter and her are ok though. A car can be replaced but not a life. Hopefully it wasn't her fault and can nail the idiot to the wall.

I'm not 100% on the situation.  I think there's a chance the idiot that slammed into her didn't have insurance. fortunetly, it sounds like she has good full coverage.
she's already talking about trying to find another one, I told her to relax and worry about getting better first, lol!  there are still quite a few of these cars out there for sale everyday.
I'm gonna tell her if it makes her feel better, she can come help me with putting my 84 back together, every spare minute I have has been going into working on that thing.  God I hate these cars
When I'm in Rome, they do as I do

Some one here with out insurance means that they came over the boarder and are going to bolt first chance they get. :013:  Make sure she gets a chance to know the value of the car before insurance tries to settle though, otherwise she'll get screwed on value. :icon_evil:

It's good to hear she and the kids aren't seriously hurt. Keep the updates coming.

I'm glad they are OK!
That's why I have Agreed Value Payout on mine. I have to get it appraised every 4th season but well worth it! On paper here my car is worth ZERO Dollars when I get a Govt. Sellers Package. I get more for it stolen or written off than I'll get selling in todays car market.

Hi all, Thx for the prayers and well wishes. It was a rough weekend. We are both home recovering. Other driver was cited, but thats all I can say right now. Still waiting on my insurance co to evaluate damage. It's in a super secure lot, so I do sleep better knowing my baby's not getting stripped. We just got back fm Chicago and a friend mentioned a local car show... I thought it would be a great way to wrap up the day.  :(

Cars and men are always replaceable-cars can be difficult, tho :D.  I'm glad you all are okay.  If you have to start over, at least you now know how to do a lot of things that you will not have to learn the hard way.

I hate to see you start over agan with another car but I'm very happy that you two are ok. I also noticed you are already looking for a new car again.  Hope to see you up and driving in the power tour once again. :atbeer:

Well if you're not there it won't be any fun so you better get to it and find another ride.  I might just try and bribe you with some of my smoked ribs or hot links, along with true Texas hot sauce. :atbeer:
