Finally got my mod on the Hellwig bar to make changing the setting much simpler.
Hellwig sent a long 7/16 bolt that went through the sway bar and the dog bone looking link. easy to remove but the fit was bad,GM shock bolt fit much better and aloud more articulation on the link transfering the lode from one side to the other smother.Stick a jack under one side and jack it up slow and watch how fare it goes up before the load is transferd to the other wheel. That is why I used a shock bolt but making the adjustment was a pane. With this mod I can do it at the track.
Drey did this with his small block Pontiac, ATR bar and drag radials. I guess old school works too NY street racing
That's for sure I seen his new car (GN) at the track and know the previous owner.
Wouldn't the g-bodies have rear axle lateral movement w/o the OEM-style swaybar, especially with the flimsy stamped lower control arms ? Upgraded lower control arms with stiff bushings would be a good idea with the pro-touring type bar.
