What browser do you use, Steve?

There's sometimes an issue with that, caused by the WYSIWYG editor.

Here's a screen cap of your settings, under Profile > Forum Profile > Look And Layout.

Sometimes toggling these settings helps. See what happens if you set it to "Non-WYSIWYG (with bbc buttons and smilies"
