NOS4GN T-Top seal thread on TB.com
« on: January 25 2012, 01:21:45 PM »
What's the purpose of Kirban's response to this thread?

NOS4GN not charging enough?

Is he butt-hurt he doesn't have an exclusive after "helping" the manufacturer?

If I was Kirban - i would be wary of NOS4GN too. He's a MUCH better business man.

Yes, yes and yes.
If its the same mfg -sounds like K didn't see a set yet, I'd be annoyed too. Maybe slippery motorwerkx scared them off.

Regular price was going to be $100 IIRC. Prices can go up over time, many of Glen's have.

My guess is that Dennis is trying to get credit for trying to get these reproduced. He's been getting a little pissy lately with some of the guys that suply parts and since things are getting tight. He must be getting strained a little financially. :icon_redface:

Suspect as retirement gets closer K is reluctant to invest capital in new repro items.
His Pullstrap covers are pretty poor.

What's your sense of the landscape?
With Poston's gone I'm thinking NOS4 is still smaller than they were.
Is his (K) slice of the pie really getting any smaller?
The Pie may be shrinking....

With money like ti is right now and more cars going away or into garages to be hidden away things are dissappearing. I'm sure Dennis is getting worried about whether he can pass his business down to his son or if it's just going to go away.
