Why dont you just turn up the boost and stop spending money.....?

-------------------------------------
Because I would like for my car to last for a while, unlike you.
J/k, Phil, any progress on the car?

I mean mine.....and it sounds like Phil's is not doing so hot, either. Hopefully this here cam sensor will fix my shit.

Well, hell, if your car is not running, and Phil's is not running too hot either, let's all go racing. I might actually have a chance.

Sylvan: What is the car doing when you try and start it?
Does it start but only run at a very fast idle?

No, it just cranks and cranks but never fires....if you start it with ether, it fires right up and once it's going it runs like a top. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, other than the cam sensor has been swapped and nothing has solved the problem. Oh well, new cam sensor came in today.

Hope everything works out ok on that, keep me posted. What does the ether do. I would not think that ether would make up for a bad cam sensor. On the other hand,
I wouldn't know anyhow.

Gary, on your car, what does Neal specify for boost on his chip ?
Phil's probably right...  15#'s seems low. I'm running 22#'s with
93 oct and a thrasher chip. Most street chips are usually around 18#'s.

Sylvan, I hope that the cam sensor helps. :prayer:

If it's anywhere near mine, it's 17#'s on 91. I think he turned up the boost and pulled back some timing, but that's on mine.

Neal ussually runs very low timing something like 15 degrees I think... its low I know that or is it 18 I cant rememeber but I know its low.

My car: TA60 is on and runs and sounds better.

But nope still cant hammer it down without showing knock. I can role into is really slow and its ok for the most part, most of the time.

I dont know.... I need to do the brakes that is priority now.
