Check your harness grounds behind the heads, next to the firewall.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

Bah! A properly tuned Q-Jet (feedback! No less!) will hand with a Holley and get better gas mileage. It's all in the hanger, needles and air valve. But that's also a lot of scrounging in boneyards. I love my Q-Jets. AFB's don't flow enough and Holley's flow too much, at least for me.

It all depends on what your demands are. The AFB works fine on a V6. I have
a Q-jet in the Grand Prix that works just fine too. Feedback as well.  I used
to have a Q-jet on the Mazda, but it was simply too much for the truck. When it comes to racing, holleys (and modofied holley designs ex Demon, BG etc...) are hard to beat because there is so much available for them. Even Nascar uses them.
Especailly important when you go big. I'll take a 750 cfm Holley over a 750 cfm
AFB or 795 cfm Q-jet anyday. IMHO

hmmm  ok does not knock with 100 octane but it is running extrememly rich...  o2's 845 boost was only at about 11 lbs and it was slow but at least it wasnt knocking...  I wil get more into details later.

I want to but it knocks like crazy with 91 and I'm scared to lean it out.  I seriouslyt get like 5 and up all the way to 10 degrees of knock at like 7,8,9 lbs of boost?????

I also get shift knocks with 91 and none with 100.....

Sounds like the timing is set too high for that shitty 91 octane.

I need to sneak some GM Top Engine cleaner to you guys.  It works miracles if you have a lot of carbon build-up in there.  Could your ESC module be bad and not retarding when it's knocking?  I think they are around $50.  Maybe you could unplug it and see what code you get and see how it runs without it.

If you have a multimeter check your coil pack.  I think it's around 11-13ohms.  My middle coil was bad and I didn't have any symptoms.  Wouldn't hurt to check the wire routing to make sure they didn't get mixed up.

No coil pack is ok  I have 3 different sets that have been on.

I might want to change the ESC module cuase I did get a code 42 last week for two days and then it went away.

I didnt even know about that little thin until last week.

Watch two years of frustration and its that......

Ever check on your motor mounts and see if they are OK?
