I entirely agree with that. I had a low speed cooling
fan problem that was causing my car to run at approximately
206 deg. If my initial IAT temps were about 130 degrees, the car was
a slug. If the lanes moved fast my IAT would go to about 80,
and the car would fly. That was with hot coolant temps. With
the coolant te,ps down to about 170 the car was faster,but
not as much difference as having the lower IAT temps.

I also think that lower inlet air temps are more important than hot coolant temp.  I have the Big Mouth kit and like it alot.  :cool;

I just finished installing a big mouth cold air kit, and solid Maf pipe, New Maf sensor and Paid Big Bucks, (I'm just No Good with Money).

I haven't driven it yet, just ran it to see if the check engine light went out after installing a good MAF sensor, 'Cause it's about time to put her away for the Winter.

But, The only thing I noticed was a Better Exaust Sound, So, It's definitelly is breathing better.

I read somewhere that is is a 10% horspower gain, But, Hey, I don't know.

Good Luck with yours...                                          :psix;
