Well, drove down to NOLA today for an interview tomorrow. Holy crap, coming in on I10W it looks like a war zone in the neighborhoods off of the interstate. There were still old hotels and what not with all the windows/patio doors blown out and the curtains flapping in the wind.
The drive down I65 and I10 was nice because it was basically a non-stop car show as I must have seen hundreds of cars from '30s to the '70s on the interstate today. And about a half dozen on the side of the highway with wreckers. Only saw one TR (a GN) on a trailer...
There is definitely no shortage of Chevelles and Cutlasses out there in the world as that is what the majority of the cars I saw today were. After that it was probably El Caminos, lots of El Caminos.
