It shoots a bit to the right..or I do, one or the other.   Hard to say as I shoot using my right hand and left eye, but, either way, the front sight needs to be drifted a bit to compensate.

About two shots is all I can take before I go get the ear protection.  The flame comes out of the barrel a couple of feet and is very impressive at night in rapid fire altho' it does nothing for what little night vision I have left.

It weighs about a pound with 20 rds in it...the next 10 rds are hard to load...and I would say loading it is the worst part...a double stack .22 mag is a bit tedious to load 30 rds into but with no thumb button to depress the spring with, it does not make your thumb sore anyway.

With the lightweight (it tends to feel like a watergun when empty), it does jump a bit with each shot.  It is hard to be restrained and not pull the trigger in rapid fire when it is so easy (expensive) to do so.

This gun is a blast to shoot and so far it has not had a single failure.  Maybe Taylor will buy me a red dot scope.....

I guess my only complaint would be that it has a rail mount under it, but, not one on the top to make it easy to mount a scope without using a separate mount.    They have talked about a threaded barrel option so you can screw a suppressor or flash hider on it but no sign of it yet.  Such things are in the toy class, but, this is a lot of fun for the money.  I give it a 9 out of 10

Heard anything about the .357 Sig? I know it's a .40 S&W with a 9mm bullet, but don't know anyone who has any personal experience shooting one. Steve? Anyone? Batman?

well, it is a hot rod 9mm with more velocity, but, not a lot more than a 9+P.  From what little I know, the 40 is a little easier to shoot, has more bullet selection, and is cheaper...chea p only matters if you are going to shoot it regularly for practice, I guess.  The few I have seen were awfully loud with a lot of muzzle flash...but then that is what I said about the PMR

I keep looking at .40s, but, I cannot shoot them as well as I do my old G.I.

Guns are a bit like women...some are just easier to like once the love has burnt down a bit....

I like the bullet selection in the .40, for sure. I'm not sure whether I subscribe to the "small and fast" or the "heavy and slow" bullet theory, but it seems that you can go either way with the .40. Still, I'd probably opt for the good ol' .45. 185 grain Remington Golden Saber (+p) and the Speer Gold Dot 200 grain (+p) are certainly intriguing, I think.

typically, I like light and fast....but, I also think that part of the success of the .45 is slow and thundering..it may, in my mind, actually make one think, oh, I have been shot even if it does less tissue damage.  Having not been shot, I cannot say my belief is well founded, but...I remember those guys that were shot multiple times with a 9 and did not give up the fight.  Thump 'em with a .45 and see if they go down with a center of mass shot.

For defense in a populated area, it may be safe, for bystanders, to minimize penetration instead of popping thru walls to the next place.
