Bought the suspensions parts today....
« on: August 19 2011, 10:32:38 PM »
Decided I need to get on the ball and get the front suspension straightened out. No super-duper poly bushings or anything, all Moog actually. Not sure why I got a new center link. Rock Auto shipping isn't too bad if you can get it all from one warehouse. All of this for $20.00 shipping..

More Rock Auto magnets for the tool box.  :P

I think Moog are still the best parts when it comes to suspension

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

I have always had good luck with them. Seemingly consistent quality.
For shits and giggles, I put the same items in a cart on Advance Auto parts' website - total $534.30. Rock Auto does indeed kick ass. And that was with subbing 2-3 with "generic" manufacturers parts when the didn't have the Moog part. Sheesh. At least they gave free shipping.  :rolleyes;

A few of the parts were almost DOUBLE the price. Like these:
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product__20516570-P_2068_R|GRP60005_1886626115___
$61.99 at Advance, $39.79 at the Rock. Those are the only "performance" parts I got, all of the control arm bushings..

Not to mention how aggravating thier site is. Enough with the mouse-over menus!

Yeah, I had Marrianne ship my turbo up here via USPS...and still had to hand over $131.00 at the door for it.
