I have  chance to get a VERY good deal on a slightly used unit.

Pros? Cons?

Your in depth commentary has swayed my decision.

After researching it a bit, there would be very little gain, and a lot of work. I told him I wasn't interested. I have standard MAF translators on both Buicks, and will keep it that way.
