Grease breaks down the properties of a paper gasket. Over a short time you will have to re tighten the bolts to take-up the slack. Then repeat often until the gasket dissolves and splits.  Install dry as Steve said...

And remember, when dealing with children, silence may be golden but duct tape is silver.

The mention of putting a clean rag(s) in the intake is a GREAT idea. I wish I woulda read that prior to me installing my PP.

I dropped one of the bolts into the plenum :mad: and of course it didn't drop straight down & stay there, oh no it bounced & went into an intake port :bigeyes;

google shows lots of companies suggesting to use grease to hold their gaskets in place as well as shop manuals, etc.  perhaps, some papers are not grease resistant and others are?  I figure Pam is good..but, for these gaskets in question, I always go dry.....

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

I will edit the post.

I looked into Knowledge bases for this software, the one I found wouldn't install correctly.

And honestly, Steve's Vortex Buicks is the ultimate knowledge base.

Maybe if I can get the KB working I can import the info in Steve's site. Not sure.
