Working the buffing wheel right now.....or maybe its working me.  The shine is coming back.  When I'm done I'll post PICS!!!!  Don't hold your breath though as this may take a few days/nights worth of buffing.

This buffing crap is for the birds....speak ing of which maybe I could con the 'Boid into doing it for me.:)

I Gunked the engine clean and buffed the hood.  Next I'll buff the top and decklid.  Those surfaces had their asses kicked by the sun.  I also installed a working speed-O.  It is getting there.

OK in the six days that I haven't posted on this thread I have replaced the ignition module twice.  One of them I tried 3 different coilpacks on just to be sure it wasn't a bad coilpack.  I purchased a sending unit for my fuelpressure gauge because I couldn't find the two that I already have.  I replaced my 1600F EGT gauge with a 2000F EGT gauge only to find that it doesn't read correctly.  Both gauges use a type K thermocouple so why won't the 2000F work with the same thermocouple that came with the 1600F unit.  Both units are Autometer.  Anywho I have to replace a themocouple now so that the new gauge will work.  My cruise control quit working.  I replaced my 'trip' odometer in my speed-o due to it quit working.  My fuel pump died.  Good thing I had my fuelpressure gauge working so that I could see it going south.  I made it back home before it completely bit the dust.  Pulled into the driveway on 19psi of fuel pressure.  Replaced burned out bulbs in the instrument panel.  Cut out the holes in the inner fenders to make my GNX louvers functional.  Oh and I swapped CPUs while troubleshootin g the ignition modules to rule out a bad CPU.  Other than that its been smooth sailing.  These cars are a real pleasure.

There is no "other" board.   :013:

What ever happened to the message board you were setting up?

And how long had your car been down?
