Cheapest for that Walker PN is Rock Auto - $90.95, and there's a $30.00 Mail in rebate too.

I don't know that you will find a specific, OEM fit 'performance' muffler. Not sure though.

the one thing that should be mentioned, if not done so already, is that the factory system is 2.25" and somewhat restrictive... .the exhaust is usually one of the first things to be suggested to be replaced as it will allow the car to make more power and spool faster.

I've heard guys running 11's with stock exhaust, this is why I'm sticking with stock for now. I'm just looking for a Quick street car is all, after all i'm 43 I don't feel the need tobe the fastest anylonger. Just a nice quick car, Here is what I've had done so far.

New Timing Chain Set
Rebuilt High Pressure Oil Pump
42lbs injectors
fuel pressure Regulator set to 42lbs
FT Extender Chip-set for 20lbs of boost 93octane
3'' MAF & Translator

Walbro 340 pump and Hot Wire kit.
Running colder plugs, onestep down
New wires also...
Along with new paint,Brakes, and all fulids......
What would you do for the Next step?

Damn, I was 44 when I bought my GN new in 1986.  LOL

I picked up a bit more than a pound of boost by swapping out the stock exhaust.....

Alcohol injection....h ands down :)  It might get a bit more out of your stock turbo...it will get a lot more out of a TA49, but...



and I am mad right now because I got in the two tie rod ends I needed to finish off the suspension rebuild on my Challenger and someone stuck a ford end in one of the boxes so I can't finish it today...LOL

There should be some substitute (legal) for women and cars!

I am reworking the Combination page on my site...down at the bottom I offer some sample combinations.. .you might look at them for ideas?

Women should not work in parts stores, all they do is get the part the computer tells them too........ If they looked at them, they wouldn't know the difference from a tie rod or a balljoint..... ..

There is a guy in Shelbyville that is very good  with these cars.  He's a bit old school though, no computer, no internet, I don't think he even has a microwave...an d unfortunately he gets a little behind the times in regards to some of the newer technology out there for our cars (ie powerlogger and some of the newer generations of alcohol systems).   But I trust him completely with my GN and I'm borderline OCD about my car.
