Anybody else want one of these badly enough to go blind? I just wish they'd come out and say how much they'll be asking for it. With the Ford website advertising the Shelby GT500 at $48,645 MSRP, I hope Chevy doesn't get retarded and ask much more than that.

Nope, not me. I despise garage queens. I don't want a car I was afraid to beat on.

As far as the Camaro goes, I think Chevy missed the mark, and the momentum of the classic muscle car revolution. Chrysler/Dodge nailed it, Ford nailed it. Chevy, not so much.

If they are not drivers, I would rather pay ten bucks to go to a museum and see 'em rather than have them collect dust in my shop for a ton of money.

I'm with Steve on having a garage queen. I met one of the locals yesterday that I'd been trying to track down. He's got an 86 GN that has been sitting since 95 outside of his shop. Ragged out and rusty, but from neglect, not use. It's got 56K on it and he thinks it's worth $15K. :jerkit; I needs a ton of work to get it back in shape and he really believes it's worth a ton of money since he's the original owner and has all the paper work showing everything since he bought it from Tyson Buick in Fort Worth new.
And remember, when dealing with children, silence may be golden but duct tape is silver.

:supz: Man! Did you nail that on the head!

I do like the new Camaro and damn near bought one when I was looking at the Challenger.  The only drawback was the interior of the Camaro(and the Mustang for that matter) is just not made for people my size.
2008 Charger SRT-8
2009 Challenger R/T
any questions?

I like the Mustang with regard to the new cars because it is the lightest weight. Add four hundred pounds and lose 4 tenths..that is my first reaction.  I like the Challenger from the looks department...

None of them scream you gotta have me, tho

The Camaro's interior is less than inspired, I'll concede that much.

...but as far a GM not nailing it in comparison to the others, I think they sat on it until they knew they'd gotten it just right.
