I did not raise the 12th imam theory.  That is strictly a muslim belief and quite a few million believe it.  The president of Iran believes it to be his duty to hasten the apocalypse in order to speed up the imam's return.   I am not sure why you wish to ascribe science and ration to the argument as I am pretty sure you know better in this case...but, Iran is always looking for someone to make a symbol out of so perhaps you should visit and tell him that he is full of shit?  He seems to have a need to capture and try cia spies.

I have to agree with Steves post...my intention was not to pit Muslims against Christians although it should have been Muslims against the christian faith whether it be Catholicism or Methodism or Church of England...but the Muslim faith is united in one goal..were as the Christian based faiths have multiple agendas,,,I only speak for myself and maybe for Steve but Americans are taught in school a different version of world history than those in Europe....do some research om your own and not be spoon fed information... The Muslim faith has been around since 610 BC and most major powers have been fighting them for 1700 years...
