That Dark New Day song that they're playing on the radio lately....it's pretty heavy when the pre-chorus comes in.

well holy hell what was the deal with Ozz-fest?
I *think* I found the lowest levels of humanity down in the pit.  :bigeyes; I saw a lot of big fat chicks walking around with no top on and their tits painted up like those pics we have all seen of Mardi Gras. Fucking gross. Then, during the Slipknot set, their was some 'peckerwood' inducing himself to puke :vom: in a cup. When the cup was filled he trew it up towards the stage spraying all the people on front of the stage. Luckily not me, or he would be in the ground! Then some of the patrons that were on the receiving end came over to kick his ass until they found out he was a 'peckerwood' at which point they laughed and shared a smoke.  :question;  I jst don't get some things I guess.

I could type all day on the fucking freakfest that was there!  :jerkit;  :rofl;

During the Iron Maiden set there was a guy in the pit chucking eggs at the band (not cool if you ask me). Then the power was cut four times during the set  :rolleyes; After, during the teardown of the stage getting it ready for Black Sabbath, Sharon Osbourne gets on stage and starts bad mouthing Bruce Dickinson....  :rolleyes;

Quite a full day!  :rofl;  :supz:  :rock:  :rolleyes:

Metal is so done with these days. We should all just walk away and pretend to not hear it's desperate cries for help.

WTF are you talking about?!?!? Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Lamb Of God, From Autumn To Ashes--- all kindsa kick ass bands are emerging right now and bringing back old school lead playing and layered guitar harmonies and all....I thinnk this is the best time for metal in many, many years.

He's still working with Brujeria....I never really got into them. I wish that FF could iron out thier differences and let him back in the band....he really was great at writing thier stuff. I'll never have another 'Demanufacture', but I really expected this album to suck and am elated to find out otherwise. The first track is called '540,000 Degrees Fahreheit'.....when it starts, it's heavy as hell and slams plenty, but doesn't really sound like FF, but I decided to just be patient....... then, at the 2:40 mark they hit you with both barrels and the hair on the back of my neck stood up.....heavier than a bucket of nuts! Here, give me a second and I'll email it to you....

Dammit. It's a Dual Disc and my computer reads the DVD side just fine, but when I flip it over the damn thing refuses to acknowledge that there's a disc in the drive.

I was in the pit and saw the egg throwing going on but did not see the guy. One of my peeps made it backstage and said that it was the Osbourne kids that planted the eggs in the pit. I have seen Iron Maiden a few times and I gotta say that Dickinson is one of the best front men out there. He makes A LOT of eye contact with his audience when others just stare into the crowd.

BD eventually pointed the guy out and security made short work of him!  :rofl;

When Sharon came out on stage and blast BD I thought what a classless idiot she is. :jerkit; She was NOT received well by the crowd for saying what she did.

Too bad CNN missed vomit man.  :D
