First day on it. It is greatly unwise to be near me today.

It works well. Some of the "side effects" are being gassy and suicidal - I don;t mind the gassy part. I did have some vivid dreams - but nothing alarming.
I stopped taking it when it had a reaction to some pain meds I was on for dental surgery - and I started smoking again.

I plan on quitting again, and will use Chantix again.

While I've always had wierd dreams (I guess), I've never had such lengthy, detailed and vivid dreams. This is fun! Even though the first week is just a ramping-up of the meds and you're permitted to smoke, I had a *relatively* easy time avoiding a smoke until I cheated around 9 pm last night and had two.

They will continue to taste worse and worse. Once the receptors are blocked - you shouldn't crave it. You have to FORCE yourself to change your living patterns in regard to smoking though.

I've had to change everything recently. Honestly changing diet, quitting drinking, quitting smoking, working out religiously and taking a shitload of meds ALL AT THE SAME TIME is no goddamned fun at all. Broccoli, anyone?

As for the Chantix, both my Father and Step Mother were both chain smokers.
They took it without any of the mentioned side effects and have been smoke free for
well over a year now.

Well, I fell off the wagon last night...mostly just 'cause I was bored. Not worth it at all....hard to believe that up until recent weeks I was accustomed to feeling this awful EVERY morning. Yuck.

Oh fuck, I quit cold turkey for a while, then got hooked up with a psycho girlfriend. I'm still detoxing these days. I hit 30 in less than a week. Is this what it's like?
