BTW, Rob: the track is just outside of town to the east....maybe that might affect your hotel shopping.

Natty- see what you can do- otherwise, does anybody have any preferences on our accomodations?

Never been there, but a bed and a good place to drink would be cool. :atbeer:

I'm still looking into some package deals and stuff. I may fly out
on the 12th. I'm thinking about going to the Hoover Dam and/or
The Grand Canyon on the 13th. Could hit some places during the day
before the races too !
Hoover dam is 10 minutes away, but the Grand Canyon is a bit of a drive, homeboy. Especially if you want to see the north rim (which they say is the best) you'll be driving all day and half the night.....they have helicopter rides to the Grand Canyon that take off right from the Strip- don't know how much they cost, though.

I priced a package at $800
Round trip non-stop from Manchester (Southwest doesn't fly outta Logan ?)
Airport shuttle included
4 nights at the Sahara Tower
1 day trip to the Hoover dam and The Grand Canyon (Oct 13th)
It comes with some Planet Hollywood thingy and some other strip tour or whatever.

I still have a few more places to check on.....

....
Also, what are the rules for flying with laptops/cell phones ?
I fly with my cell and laptop all the time. They make you shut them down at take off and landing, otherwise you're good to go.  :cool;

2009 Challenger R/T
any questions?

I'm suprised that you can use them in flight. My nextel raises
hell with just about anything its near(ie: phones, radios, recording,
and  other sound equipment). It makes an annoying ticking noise
though that stuff.

Your nextel won't work up there, at least mine doesn't. But then again my Nextel rarely works.... kinda like my GN.  :D
