I finally saw them tonight. Here are some of my observations:
Eddie with short blonde hair and dentures resembles JFK.
Wolfgang did OK. They did a couple of comical things and utilized him to the best extent.
DLR didn't do any backflips, but was entertaining nonetheless.
Aside from a couple mistakes in "Pretty Woman", Alex was top notch.
His drum solo was very reminiscent of Ginger Baker's Toad, and very well played.
DLR was off key occasionally and missed a few words here and there. Still
interactive and entertaining.
Eddie was off on a couple of things and spot on on others. He appeared healthy
contrary to other assessments.
They did an excellent rendition of Cream's "Crossroads"
I didn't see the Eddie/Wolfgang thing that a couple of you mentioned. I'm
guessing that they dropped it from the show.
All the key boards were sampled, as well as most of the back up vocals.
That made the show a little cheesy for me.
Overall I liked it and was glad I went, but I don't think they're the same band
they were years ago. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.
