Alright, so tomorrow morning I'm jumping a Greyhound to San Bernardino CA and will be there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for "orientation" with a new company...afte r that, I'm in a truck for 4 weeks with a trainer (mandatory) driving all over the contiguous 48. I have a real problem with public restrooms, so living at truckstops will suck. On the up-side, it's been a long time since I took a good long roadtrip. Anyway, I've got my laptop packed up and will be checking in (hopefully) daily...so post up motherfuckers and help me keep sane. I'm gonna be keeping a photo journal so, when it's over a month from now, you a-holes can vicariously enjoy my misery.

Yesterday I was delayed 3.5 hours in Albuquerque and didn't get into my hotel room until about 2am....in bed by 3. Oh, and surpirse- they double booked all the rooms and I have a room-mate who snores like a two-stroke running in a vat of Jell-o. *Then*, I found out that I had to take some driving test with an examiner. It's hella fun driving a rig ON I-10 IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Btiches. More later, I'm gonna go get a fucking beer.

I can't predict SD, sadly.

I just hit the jack In The Box next door and then went to the Shell station on the other side of that....and did what I usually do when a place doesn't sell beer: stare at the cooler for five minutes wondering, "is this some kind of joke?". So, I took a little stroll, admiring the Cali sunset, a few blocks over and found a middle-eastern owned store that sold liquor and smut. (God bless America) I strolled back to the Holiday Inn with my St. Ides in a little brown bag and was mostly pleased with my little white trash adventure.

Then I got into my room. This goddamned room mate guy is a little middle aged wet-end. Y'know, the kind who just hangs out in the room doing anything as long as it's quiet in an akward way? Yeah, you know. He's asleep at 5:30 and snoring like a motherfucking kodiak. I hope bitch-cakes isn't all hurt when I turn on the fucking lights and keep them on until, I don't...say (gasp) 9 o'clock.
