Jackson, baby Pt. 714

Happened upon this totally by accident. Jackson rules, Lamb Of God rules, Randy Rhoads rules.....oh, and I saw the date it was added- my f'n birthday! Best video ever.

Probably when Jackson needed to know how to build a guitar that both Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain would have hard times breaking.

I agree. I like the mid 70's ones myself. I think all guitar making has gone downhill actually. My next one I'm making.

In Jackson's defense, Sylvan's RR1 is a fine piece of machinery, but you can't throw a neck thru guitar across a room and expect it to survive. I've used Fenders for all kinds of heinous things.

I disagree, I've had my neck through Charvel for almost 20 years
and its never failed me through thick and thin. I'd still like to own and
old strat for fun as well. My Jackson DR-7 is the cats ass for a low dollar
whip.

I'm a fan of both nech-thru AND bolt-ons. The solid feel and bitchin' sustain of neck-thru cannot be over stated, but I love the ability to adjust a bolt-on for split-hair action. Guitars are good.

Rob, would that be a "Coon Cat"?
