testing the waters
« on: March 02 2007, 05:54:15 PM »
Hey guys/ gals just wondering if anyone here would be interested or know of someone that would be interested in an S2 build up project.  I have kind of given up on it and need $$ to fix the old C3 up for some road course racing.

S2 parts I have are
153 on center block (has one sleeve and no welds any where  needs line hone to fit new main cap)
match set of carrillo rods 6.300
comp billet solid roller with isky lifters and rev kit
BMS 3.59 crank
BG customs intake (new fits on center block w/ production heads)

You should finish that, and put it in the C3. More
power and better weight distribution. Sounds like a win win combo to me...

yeah maybe, but the c3 has a good engine and I need $$ for the 4 speed conversion, brake system improvement, and some suspension upgrades.

For road course, you want to get as close to
a 50/50 weight distribution both dront to rear as well as side to side. You shouldn't have any problem finding a BOP bell housing for the 4 spd. I think Lakewood makes them
