Nero is cursed by Satan - Beware!
« on: July 31 2006, 12:57:15 PM »
I have a second computer that I use for video projects and picture editing.
I also have a CD burner that I bought a while back. I had the burner in an older computer. When I bougfht the burner it came with Nero. After having a number
of problems with this older computer, I had to dump the OS and reload everything.
As fate would have it, I had dropped the Nero CD that came with the burner and
accidently rolled over it with my office chair - breaking it into pieces! So I had a
copy of easy CD creator, but it wouldn't recognize my drive. So I was stuck
with Nero. :mad:
Aggravated, I stuffed the drive in a box and put it away. About 6 months later, my
brother gives me a new copy of Nero. :supz:  So I decide to put the burner into
my current (second) computer. I load the Nero disc and everything is loading
perfectly.  :D
The computer then prompts me to restart. No problem. Then disaster hits!
During restart, I suddenly hear plastic shattering ! the drive then spits out pieces of the Nero disc breaking the front door off of the drive at the same time. I've
never seen or heard of anything like it. So now I'm left with a broken CD Burner and Nero disc . Beware !  :psix;  :psix;  :psix;

I think it's a case of a loose nut behind the keyboard.

Lemme know if you need a drive or Nero.

Mythbusters did a show segment on the "Killer CD Rom".  They got it to a speed that it would shatter and send plastic shreds everywhere.

You must have one of those 40X drives or it could be a evil curse put on you for reporting those voodoo email scammers.
