Alky Tank Leak?
« on: August 10 2018, 03:01:47 PM »
So, I have 3/4 of the kit installed and I am going to get a buddy to finish it off.  Working nights so I can't spend much time on it.  I put a little methanol in the tank and noticed it is leaking right where the braided line connects to it.  Can you tighten that line?

I think that is a pressed in fitting and can't be tightened.
I had to get a new tank one time because of it

During the install Razor suggests using water just in case an occurrence like this happens...less corrosive spill. Good luck with the install and hopefully that works out.

I talked to Julio yesterday.  He said it is the same connection like a boost gauge.  The fitting was very loose.  So that is tightened up.  But I ordered an extra tank for my inventory! :D
